Sahara Nepal has witnessed an exponential growth in terms of its institutional capacity along with the quality and frequency of its deliveries. An over a Score of time of experience has awarded Sahara with the higher degree of credibility and reliability in its service delivery mechanism.
To this date, Sahara has been a dedicated brand name often uttered in the realm of community empowerment, vulnerability risk reduction, public health, good governance and humanitarian services. It has been consistently rendering its services in six relevant, important and critical thematic areas paying spatial attention to core intersectional identities including the poor, women, vulnerable and marginalized communities. The experience of ceaseless exercise of social inclusion plan in each of its intervention strategy accredits its core institutional values.

SAHARA Nepal accomplishes empowerment of community regarding livelihood, empowerment, environment protection, public health, good governance, and humanitarian service for the sustainability of the society.

  • Improve the socio-economic condition of poor and marginalized communities and enabling them to food sufficiency and increased income via agricultural and non-agricultural inputs.
  • Reduce the risk of threatening public health issues like HIV, T.B., Leprosy, Lymphatic filariasis and other communicable disease by minimizing and mitigating the infection rates prevalent in the communities to safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene.
  • Increase the access of clean energy through environment protection and promotion of renewable energy technologies.
  • Reduce the disaster risk vulnerability of community in preparedness, response, mitigation and restoration stages of disaster management cycle.
  • Reduce the impacts of climate change through promotion of green environment, green financing, green jobs and reduction of the emissions, deforestation and environmental degradation.
  • Promote human rights and good governance to secure transparency, and accountability of services provided by state and non-state actors.
  • Empower the deprived, minorities and indigenous communities to get the benefit and access to the services provisioned by state.
